NKK and NKK Steel Sheet and Strip Corp have jointly developed a new type of 55% Al-Zn alloy steel sheet. Called ‘Super Genius’, it offers corrosion resistance twice that of the previous ‘Genius’ product. It is manufactured by applying an organic/inorganic composite coating that effects a remedial action on cracks created during manufacture.
